FIVE STEP PROCESS

KNC Editing aims to streamline the editing process to keep projects moving forward efficiently. These five steps are a general guide for how our exchanges will progress. STEP 4 is where much of the “back and forth” really matters most. 

INTROS

Contact us, via this website, LinkedIn, or directly through email. We will ask for your manuscript or description of your project, any timeline restrictions, and the level of editing you think you would like (see Services).

SCOPE OF WORK/ESTIMATE

After reviewing your manuscript, you will receive a quote and projected timeline.

INITIATION INVOICE

After receiving confirmation of services, you will receive an initial invoice for a down payment (50% of total estimate – for larger projects, this can be broken down by chapter). 

LET's GO!

We get to work and begin the rounds of edits and refinements.

COMPLETION INVOICE

Upon completion, you will receive your completed edit and a final invoice to be paid upon receipt.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

Which works best for you?

Payment can be sent via PayPal, Venmo, or wire transfer. International wire transfers will include an additional charge (per transaction) to cover banking fees.

Any payments delayed more than 30 days will accrue an additional late charge.
